New Orleans' homeland security chief, Terry Ebbert, said looters were breaking into stores all over town and stealing guns. He said there are gangs of armed men moving around the city. At one point, officers stranded on the roof of a hotel were fired at by criminals on the street.It sounds like the cops found a nice dry place and just huddled there. If the looters "on the street" can move around and haul loot then how is it the cops are "stranded"? They found themselves a nice spot to wait it out. To heck with the people they were sworn to protect.
