This is thought provoking
the total amount committed by the US government to date for tsunami relief -- $350,000,000 -- equals 42.27 hours of the cost of the war in Iraq. Just to put things in perspective.
They, the politicians, throw the word "billions" out a lot when it comes to this war. I wonder if anyone understands what that money in our pockets, before being taken by the government in the form of taxes and other fees, could do for our country. If you think 350 million can save the victims then what could 130 billion do for your neighborhood?
